Pandesal with a Tim Hortons® Twist

Pandesal, the Philippines’ sweet and fluffy favorite breakfast staple made its way to Tim Hortons to celebrate the country’s Independence Day.

They called their limited edition breakfast sandwich “TIMDESAL” it became available last June 11 2019 and will continue to make us crave for more until the end of August 2019.

Everyone will surely enjoy the Smokey Bacon with cheese and garlic ravioli served with chipotle sauce in panini-pressed pandesal.

Stephanie Guerrero, the marketing director for Tim Hortons Philippines said, “As our way of recognizing the significance of Independence Day, we at Tim Hortons wish to offer this breakfast favorite, reminiscent of its Filipino homey taste”.

You can taste the delicious Timdesal for only P75. But what is hot Timdesal without Tim Hortons’ signature Iced Coffee, right?

A quick trivia – The Declaration of Philippine Independence from Spanish rule was declared by General Emilio Aguinaldo on June 12, 1898 at Kawit, Cavite. Pandesal, or “bread of salt,” which was introduced in the 16th century, is relatively sweet, and is unofficially the Philippine national bread.
